Q. Tell me a little bit about your round today. What went well? What was difficult?

GARY WOODLAND: Yesterday I didn't hit it very well and I putted it great. Today was kind of the opposite. I hit the ball really well. Left a couple out there with the putter, but we got obviously fortunate with the wind. But all in all, game is trending in the right direction, so excited for the weekend.

Q. We didn't have a chance to go through it at the beginning of the week, but your impressions of the golf course?

GARY WOODLAND: The golf course is awesome. It's really, really good. Obviously there were a couple low scores today when the wind died down, but the golf course holds its own. Supposed to be a little cooler this weekend with a little different wind, so we'll see how that holds up, but the golf course is amazing.

Q. As always a lot of mental strength but a lot of mental adaptation. Everything changes over time?

GARY WOODLAND: Yeah, a lot, but that's with every major. Obviously it's sometimes more mentally draining than it is physically, and this is no exception. Excited to be here, though, the golf course is in great shape, and should be a great weekend.
