Quick Quotes
Q. Today you navigated your way around to an impressive 66. Talk us through it.
THORBJØRN OLESEN: Obviously a good start with birdie on 10, my first hole. Thought I played really well. Thought I've had some good rounds this year and just haven't finished it off. It was really nice to get that up-and-down on the last and have that momentum and not make a bogey today. I was really pleased with that.
Q. Not a single black card on the card. Bobby Mac said he felt some areas of the course, it's playing longer.
THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, we've had a lot of rain, so it's soft you and don't get much roll on the fairways. But obviously the key here is hitting the fairways and I missed that on 9 and had to chip out and get up-and-down for it. There's a few tee shots out there that's quite tricky where you really have to hit good shots.
Q. Must feel different having the fans back. Does it give you an extra boost when you're around the course?
THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, definitely, when you start at 7:50 and there's already people out there, it makes it a little bit warmer and nicer to go out there and have fun, so we are all very happy.
Q. What do you have your eyes set on for this season? Are you just taking each tournament as it is or do you want to accomplish something this year?
THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, there's a lot of things I want to accomplish. You have to stay in the present obviously but it's been a while since I've been in the winner's circle, and that's my main goal this year.
Obviously I'm working hard on my swing, changed coach. It's starting to get a lot better and hopefully I can just build on some confidence with it.
