The Belfry
Quick Quotes
Q. Talk us through the back nine, I'm sure you enjoyed the last four or five holes?
MARCUS KINHULT: I did, yeah. I said that to my caddie, it was quite nice to tee off No. 1 today and to play those final holes of the day and not having to play 6,7,8,9 in the rain. They must be playing tough run.
But I think we got pretty lucky with the weather. The forecast was a bit course. So yeah, maybe the most of the final stretch.
Q. How much do you enjoy the setup here at The Belfry? I know you had a very good week here back in 2020?
MARCUS KINHULT: Yeah, I enjoyed it back then and I do this time as well. The place is the same. Course is in good shape. Yeah, I think it suits me. So far I've been playing very good golf and yeah, I'm happy.
Q. You have been playing very good golf, you had a Top-10 in Kenya, a top five in Qatar and a quiet spell in Spain. Did you feel like you had the game coming in this week?
MARCUS KINHULT: No, I didn't. Like you said, Spain was not my best but we worked on a few things last week after missing the cut. Yeah, I think we are on to something. So hopefully we can keep it going.
Q. You might be delighted to know we are going to have dry weather and even sunshine this weekend. I don't know if that bodes well given what you've done in the rain the last four or five holes?
MARCUS KINHULT: I'm quite happy about the sunshine. I'm looking forward to that. This is a little bit cold for me. My hands get very old, so some sunshine will do me well.
