Q. What a finish, you are the 2022 Betfred British Masters champion. Can you just share your initial reaction?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: I don't know, it's difficult. Yeah, it was obviously a pretty tough day and hit a lot of shots to the left. I was really struggling. I somehow just kept going, and yeah, what a finish. Incredible, yeah.

Q. You did keep going. You started the day three shots clear and after battling it out there all day long, you needed something special in the closing two holes. Just give us an idea of where your head was at standing on the 17th tee?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Well, standing on 17, I'm thinking, can make birdie, birdie and maybe get into a playoff. But obviously when I got the chance on 17, I prefer to take that. 18 is a tough hole, so par is a good score obviously.

Yeah, I just gave it everything.

Q. You've been on quite a journey, it's four years since you visited the winner's circle, and you join now today an event of great magnitude, former winners of this include Seve, Faldo, Woosnam. This event is steeped in history. Can you sum up what it means to rejoin the winner's circle here at the Betfred British Masters?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, I mean, it's obviously a massive tournament. It's always been, like you just said, so many great champions here. So yeah, it's a privilege to get your name there. Just always the great support you get in Britain. The crowds have been amazing from Thursday and onwards. Got so much support. So I'm really happy.

Q. Will there be some celebrations this evening?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: I think just with my partner and my little son, that's it.
