Quick Quotes
Q. A valiant effort but just couldn't get it done today. Hey, still a good round, good finish here in LA. How good does that one feel?
ANNIE PARK: Yeah, last couple weeks, I mean, the biggest thing I was concerned about is my shots. I changed shafts two weeks ago, and it's great to see that I was hitting some great shots this week.
Yeah, I left a lot of putts out there, but it's kind of out of my control now. So the only thing I can do is cherish all the great putts I had, those 90-footers I made, and take that with me for the next event.
Q. Having more fun on the golf course than ever before it seems like. Playing with Megan Khang today, a good friend of yours, how much fun was that?
ANNIE PARK: It was so much fun. We were talking about how it felt like it was Dow all over again when we played back in 2019. It was so much fun then. And Solheim Cup all over again.
So we were rooting for each other out there even though we were all chasing for that No. 1 spot. But I loved how she was making putts and we were just fist pumping out there all day. Always great to play with one of your good friends.
Q. As we head into what is really the meat of the LPGA Tour season, a lot majors coming up, how confident are you with the recent good play you've seen from yourself?
ANNIE PARK: Yeah, I think I definitely have a lot of stuff I want to clean up in my game. I'm really close and I'm just going to keep pushing.
Q. And then any final words as we wrap up two weeks here in LA for USC fans?
ANNIE PARK: Yeah, so great to see all these fans out here again. It was great to see a lot of red out there, a lot of Trojans. It's always great. I think having fans back and just being close to home for USC, it was great. I really love this course, so hopefully we come back here again next we're and be super fun.
