Q. Here with Anna Davis. I know it was kind of an up and down day for you on the front nine, but, I mean, solid 1-over today. How were you feeling about that round?

ANNA DAVIS: It was a little bit all over the place obviously for the first nine holes.

I don't know. I made a few mistakes going into the first few holes, but coming in with an even on the front side was all right, so I'll take that.

I don't know. I struggled to make a few putts today but that's about it.

Q. What was going through your head in that first five-hole stretch?

ANNA DAVIS: I knew like I wasn't playing like bad, but I wasn't playing terrible. I was just -- I just made two dumb mistakes and that's why that happened.

I wasn't like super worked up about it.

Q. Probably a good thing. First weekend round here on the LPGA tour. What was that experience like obviously playing with Janet Lin today? You had kind of a crowd following you.

ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, it's cool to see everybody out here supporting, so that's cool. And to be able to play in on the weekend in an LPGA Tour event, it's pretty good experience, so looking forward to many more for sure.

Q. Did anybody drive up to come watch you play or drive down?

ANNA DAVIS: Yes, a few people did. I have my family here. My brother would be here but he's at a golf tournament right now.

But, yeah, just a few family members.

Q. And just this whole experience I'm sure has been kind of crazy. One of the things I did notice on social media was Alexa Pano shouted you out on her Instagram story. Have you had a lot of people reaching out? If so, who?

ANNA DAVIS: I'm not really sure. I think not like very many super big people, but Alexa has been my friend since September so we're really close now.

But, yeah, it's been cool to like make friends with people like that, like over the past the few months.

So, yeah.

Q. Any of the people you played with this week be like, Hey, that is frigging awesome?

ANNA DAVIS: Yeah, few of like the tour players have walked up to me and been like, yeah, good job. That's super cool. And they are all very welcoming. They're very nice.

Q. Anybody stand out in particular?

ANNA DAVIS: Well, I met like -- not at this event, but, I don't know, Monday I was at something and I met the Korda sisters. I met Jessica. Nelly wasn't there. Jessica is very nice. We had a good talk.

Q. What are you looking forward to most playing on Sunday your first time in an LPGA tour event?

ANNA DAVIS: Excited to see the people come out. I think there probably be a few more people come out on Sunday. Just excited to get the crowds riled up and stuff.
