THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. I just want to ask about playing Naomi who I know you had a great win against on clay in Spain before. How much do you think that experience will help in the second round?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Well, I know it's gonna be tough, but I don't think I'm gonna think much in that match, because I think we both are different players than we were.

Yeah, will be tough. Will be only good in the part that I have already played her. I know how the ball is coming. I know more or less what she's doing, and she also knows about me.

Yeah, I think will be completely different match and hopefully can be a tough match and good for me.

Q. What's it like, your only tournament in Spain, to have to play the French Open finalist and then Naomi Osaka in your first two matches? That seems tough.

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: That's okay. That's the way that the WTA is now. All players are very good players. All matches are very tough.

Yeah, I'm just trying to improve every day. I'm just trying to be better every single day. Yeah, playing with these kind of players, it's something that you always want, so I'm happy with that.

Q. Yesterday I saw you very briefly on Stadium Court practicing. Was that your only chance to hit on the court before this match?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: Yeah, because I didn't know I was going to play on that court. So when the schedule came out, I was, yeah, that was the only chance I had to play. Even if it was like three minutes, I think it helped me. It really helped me. Yeah, I'm happy with that.
