Q. Here we are with Minjee Lee. 7-under overall right now; inside the Top 5 here. Just take me through what this week was like for you.

MINJEE LEE: To be fair, I'm probably a little disappointed in my performance this week. I made a lot of bogeys but I did make a lot of birdies, so I guess that's the good thing.

But, I mean, Top 5, I don't think I can really be too disappointed, but hopefully better things to come next week.

Q. And for the back nine you had three birdies; kind of picked yourself up after making the turn. Take me through what was happening there on your back nine?

MINJEE LEE: I knew there was some opportunities with the par-5s coming up. I had a really good shot into the par-3 before -- I think it was like 14 or something -- 13.

Q. Yeah.

MINJEE LEE: And I hit a really good putt and made a birdie there and made birdie on 15 and 16, which was nice.

So, yeah, you know, solid finish.

Q. Solid finish, and you talk about some of the positives that you'll take away into Palos Verdes. What are you thinking of focusing on as you head into next week's tournament?

MINJEE LEE: I've only heard that it's really, really hilly, so I'm not sure. I'm not sure what to expect, to be honest.

I will see Tuesday and Wednesday what the course is like, and hopefully I get a little gauge when I get there.

Q. And outside the ropes I know I think a couple years ago in 2019 you had someone who was following you the entire time. They're here this week. What's it like to come back here to LA and have that kind of connection again?

MINJEE LEE: You know, even we when we didn't have the fans the other couple years he was out there on the balcony.

Q. Micah is his name.

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, Micah. Yeah, he was here every single day this week, and it was just really nice just to see them all grown up. He's only getting taller every time I see him. It was very nice.

Q. He was the one that ran into the fairway, right, in 2019?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah.

Q. So that's so cool to see them. Probably much like more support for you.

MINJEE LEE: Oh, for sure. It's always nice to see familiar faces in the crowd. Whenever he comes he says hello and he gave me a little letter saying, I love Minjee, so it was really cute.
