Q. Here with Nasa Hataoka. What a day. 4-under 67 out her at Wilshire Country Club. You hit 16 of 18 greens. What did you find with your ball striking today to hit that many greens?

NASA HATAOKA: So during yesterday's round something clicked inside me and I was able to bring that to today's round, too.

I think that really helped me today.

Q. Pretty mistake free. Five birdies, one bogey on the card. Just take me through some of those birdies.

NASA HATAOKA: All of my birdies except 9, they were inside 15 feet, so I feel like I was putting really good.

Especially afternoon the poana greens are really tricky, but I feel like I was able to adjust to that.

Q. Yesterday it was so windy; today it died down a little bit. I was talking to Hannah and she said she had to adjust her brain a little bit to play in the wind. What was that like for you?

NASA HATAOKA: Yes, compared to yesterday, today wasn't really bad. Feel like the wind yesterday was a lot more difficult to read.

But I feel like I was able to hit it good.

Q. Sleeping on a lead; 4-shot lead heading into Sunday. What's that like for you to be able to sleep on a lead like that?

NASA HATAOKA: Yes, to be honest, I didn't expect this position at the beginning of this week, but like I said before, something clicked inside me during yesterday's round so I'll try to keep that momentum going forward for tomorrow's round.
