Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Inbee Park. 3-under 68 today; four birdies on the card; just one bogey on 12. Take us through your round out there.
INBEE PARK: You know, really similar round to yesterday. Played really good out there. Ball striking was really good. Didn't miss many fairways or greens.
I think it really comes down to putting on this golf course. You know, I feel like I left a few out there, but at the same time, I saved some good par putts. So I think kind of evens out.
I love this golf course. It's a challenging golf course for sure, especially on the greens, but I really enjoy playing this golf course.
Q. And speaking of putting, obviously we know your stature in the putting world. You've had 28 putts the last two days. What changed from that opening round?
INBEE PARK: Yeah, I mean, the opening round nothing wanted to go in and my speed was probably a little bit off, rhythm was a little bit off. Just a little bit of everything was I think little off.
But last couple days I felt like I been stroking the ball little better. Had little better rhythm on the putts, so little better read, little better on everything.
Hopefully I get this going for tomorrow and hopefully I can roll in some more putts.
Q. It's not the longest golf course we play out here on tour.
INBEE PARK: No.
Q. It's quite really short comparatively.
INBEE PARK: Uh-huh.
Q. Does that kind of give you more of an advantage at a golf course like this?
INBEE PARK: Yeah, for sure. The fact that I really love this golf course, it gives short hitters a chance as well.
You know, hit a lot of short irons on this golf course, which I don't really get all year around, so trying to take advantage of that. This golf course is all about really on the greens, and I think that's why I think I been able to play well out here.
Q. Going to be chasing heading into tomorrow. You're Inbee Park. Anything can happen out here. What's the mindset going into Sunday?
INBEE PARK: You know, this golf course, anything can happen on this golf course, especially you had a one bad putting day, it's just -- it's a disaster on this golf course.
So trying to play a good round of golf tomorrow and just see what happens.
Q. Just final question: So close to K-Town. We have a lot of Korean fans out here. I know you had quite a big crowd watching you today. How cool is it to have more of those Korean cheers than the crowds that you normally get?
INBEE PARK: Yeah, it's really fun because we don't get that all year around. We're really close to K-Town. I feel like we're playing back home, so it's a lot of fun and a lot of energy.
Q. So this feels like a hometown event?
INBEE PARK: For sure, yeah.
