THE MODERATOR: Questions in English?
Q. First of all, how did you feel this morning after the matchup last night? Also, some reflection about yesterday's match, because, I mean, that was unbelievable and today you were not the same, three serves broken in the first set.
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Yeah, at the end of the day I think I was quite limited in what I did today. You know, I said also in the match yesterday already in the end I was struggling a little bit with my serve because of my leg.
But at the end, yeah, I was limited a little bit today. Yesterday obviously took a lot out of me. I think the issue with my leg didn't help.
But, yeah, I mean, Stefanos played 10 times better than me, so he deserved to win at the end of the day. Nothing more to say. Yeah, I wish him good luck in the final.
But all in all, it was a positive week for me. I played good matches here. Yeah, in Miami I got ill. Here I got a little bit injured. I feel like things keep happening that are a little bit out of my control, which is a little bit upsetting for me.
Q. Are you still on a trial basis with Bruguera?
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Yeah, yeah. He was just not here. He's going to be in Munich.
Q. I'm pretty sure that given all that has been happening as of late, you have had some emotional goals when it came to this tournament, so how happy, how sincerely, you know, well do you feel despite today's loss after such a run in Monte-Carlo?
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: I mean, to be honest right now, I don't feel well at all (smiling). But I think the last two tournaments there have been big improvements in my game, and that is very important for me.
At the end of the day, I'm someone and I think Stef is, as well, who wants to win the biggest tournaments in the world. So for me it's important to get back to that level.
Q. Were you very satisfied about the match that you played last night? Because last night I thought personally was a great match. On clay, I mean, you are doing a lot of progress, humble opinion. I would like to know if you agree.
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: I mean, as I said, I think last night was a great match, physically and tennis-wise as well. Yeah, I was very happy to win last night, but today I lost, so, you know, we are here now in the present.
Q. The injury?
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Yeah, but at the end of the day that is not important. You lost, you lost. I'm somebody that goes out on court, I try my best no matter what. I tried my best today. It was far from being enough.
Yeah, I was a little bit injured, but in the end of the day, if you walk on court, if you step on court, you need to try your best. I did, even though it wasn't great tennis for me today. Yeah, we move on and I got Munich in one week.
