Q. How difficult were the conditions out there, and how good was your round, in your opinion?

ROBERT STREB: They were pretty tough for me. It was a really good round around here. Obviously haven't played fantastic around this place, so getting it around in the wind was really good for me.

Yes, it's kind of one of those things, you catch a bad gust here or there, you can end up in a pretty bad spot without hitting a bad ball. It felt like I kind of got lucky. I got most of the time the wind I was hoping for and made some putts.

Q. What was working so well for you today?

ROBERT STREB: I felt like I was just kind of doing my best to flight it and keep it in front of me. Gave myself some looks, which sometimes can be tough around here with the small greens and the wind.

Q. Do you feel like your game is trending in the right direction?

ROBERT STREB: Yeah, it's been going, I felt like, better. Obviously it's been very sporadic, but hopefully I can get a little more consistency going forward.

Q. What's something that you need to focus on heading into the weekend to have success the next couple days?

ROBERT STREB: Probably just not getting ahead of myself. For me here, if I can just kind of find a way to just flight the driver around and maybe hit a few wedges close, it's pretty helpful.
