Q. That was a good day. Whole bunch of birdies, just one bogey. How do you feel right now?
HAEJI KANG: I feel great.
Q. Good.
HAEJI KANG: And I always feel great to be in Hawaii. I think, yeah, just you got to just try to keep it low in this wind, and just you got to know how to hit it.
Q. I was going to ask, how do you deal with the wind out there? It was brisk today.
HAEJI KANG: Uh-huh. I mean, you expect like it's going to be windy in Hawaii, so I actually practiced a lot of low shots towards the target when I was in Orlando, so that really helped.
Yeah, I think I could use that really nicely.
Q. Is that where were before you came out here, back in Orlando?
HAEJI KANG: Yes, and luckily it was very windy in Orlando, too. I thought it was just like Hawaii and just practiced.
Q. Absolutely. What do you think about this golf course? It's big, it's a long walk, but we're hearing good reviews about it.
HAEJI KANG: Yes, I mean, I've played many courses in Hawaii, and I think it's very tough because it has a lot of water so you got to place your drive shots very nicely on the fairway, so that way you have a chance to attack the flag.
So I think it's, yeah, a very good golf course. Challenging.
Q. What did you learn from today being out there that you'll put into use tomorrow?
HAEJI KANG: I think I'll just do the same thing: Just to keep it low all day and just see what happens.
Q. And then you seem to love coming here to Hawaii. What are some of your favorites thing to do other than play golf?
HAEJI KANG: Well, last couple days I have actually been searching like very good coffee places, and I've been enjoying that.
And obviously there is a lot of good sushi place around here, so I been having that, too.
The water is pretty, so I been just walking on the beach. Yeah, it's been just relaxing.
Q. Good. Good to be in paradise.
HAEJI KANG: Yes.
