Q. What does it mean to go to Indiana as far as being potentially a big part of that rebuilding franchise?

NaLYSSA SMITH: It's a great feeling. We have four top picks, so it's a chance and an opportunity for this team to grow tremendously.

Q. What do you anticipate being the biggest challenges or adjustments you're going to have to make to life in general in the WNBA compared to college?

NaLYSSA SMITH: Just probably getting stronger, getting more in shape, because the game is a lot faster than it is in college. Just adjusting to that.

Q. I know you only worked with Coach Collen for one year, but she obviously coached in the WNBA for a while. Were there things she told you that could help you at the next level?

NaLYSSA SMITH: Mainly just improving on shooting the three, outside game, because that's going to help me a lot more, being great in many aspects except one.

Q. There are a lot of Baylor veterans that are now in the league. Have you spoken to any of them when you were getting ready for this level and talking about what this experience would be like?

NaLYSSA SMITH: Yeah, I spoke to mostly all of them. I'm very close with a lot of them. They were just telling me, have fun, enjoy this process. Everybody doesn't get to go through this.
