Quick Quotes
Q. Matt, how did you feel about the way you finished this year's Masters?
MATTHEW FITZPATRICK: Yeah, if I stayed in the position I'm in, I would be fairly pleased, I guess. Just kind of didn't have a great Friday, Saturday. Yeah, just never really gave myself a chance.
I played well Thursday. Could have got more out of it, and to be fair, today could have got a lot more out of it. Just sort of haven't had any luck this week with the right bounces and missed what I felt like every putt to go in.
Yeah, still playing well and on to next week.
Q. It's interesting. Obviously, you still are a pretty young player, and I think it's eight years ago that you first came here. People always talk about learning a little bit more. What of this year's experience do you feel is now in the locker for the future?
MATTHEW FITZPATRICK: I think there's a couple of things. I think the last couple of years I haven't been for practice rounds prior. I think I need to come back and just sort of spend a bit more time here, play the golf course a few more times. Obviously there's been a few changes.
I didn't particularly like the new tee on 15 this year. I just feel like, again, if that's what the tee is going to be, I'm just going to have to practice it a little bit more where I'm going to be hitting from.
I didn't really expect to be the places that I was probably off some of the tees this week. I would just say just spend a little bit more time in and around the greens and practicing the shots that I've had this week.
