Q. Here with our 54-hole leader of the 86th Masters, Scottie Scheffler. Scottie, it was a first for you sleeping on an overnight lead in a major championship. You leave tonight with the lead again. Emotionally, how did it feel out there knowing that everybody was looking at you?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I felt pretty comfortable. I don't really mind people watching me. If you play this game for a living, you kind of get used to people watching.
I had a lot of fun out there. I talked about at the beginning of the week that being in contention is what's fun, so being in the lead is fun. When I'm in the lead, I'm trying to stay in the lead and not really overthink things; just go out there and play golf.
Q. 18 was a prime opportunity for you to overthink things, but you were able to minimize the damage. How much confidence does it give you that you can put yourself in trouble and then get out of it?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, definitely. You hate bogeying the last hole, but the way I bogeyed it, it for sure felt like a par. Definitely a good finish to the day. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
Q. A lot has been made about Ted Scott on your bag, this relationship; it has blossomed into you winning three times in six starts, catapulting up to world No. 1. I know most of that is you, but how much does that help having someone who has won, who has been on the bag for some green jackets? How does that help you for tomorrow with 18 holes?
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I wouldn't say that's all me. Teddy's been a great addition to the team. I have a lot of faith in him. He works really hard. I respect him as a person. When we're out there I have a lot of faith in him.
It's really nice just having someone I can trust so much out there with me.
Q. Calm, cool, and collected. Good luck tomorrow.
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Thanks. Appreciate it.
