Q. Lee, obviously it's a very tough day out there. So how are you feeling at the end of it?

LEE WESTWOOD: Well, it's warming up now, which is nice. I've got my hand warmers.

Yeah, it was tricky. I've never really sort of in the tournament experienced weather like this round here. Yeah, it took some figuring out at times. It's playing a little bit longer because it's cold.

Obviously, the golf course is drying out all the time. Greens are getting a bit quicker. But I played well. I could easily have shot 3 or 4-under, I guess.

I didn't make -- I had good putts, but they just didn't go in today. I made a mistake at 17, missed it in the wrong place. Other than that, it was a pretty pleasing of a day.

Q. Does it surprise you what Scottie Scheffler is doing considering how tough conditions are?

LEE WESTWOOD: Well, he's 5 or 6 clear, isn't he? That shows you how well he's playing. This is a major championship, world class field, and he's 11 under. 5-under is next, is it?

Yeah, he must be playing well. But he's world No. 1, so when you're world No. 1 and you've won three tournaments this year and played well the other times as well, they're the sort of things that happen.
