Quick Quotes
Q. Min Woo, after round three what was that like out there today? It was cold to start, it was cold to finish, it was cold in between.
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, it was a bit of a shock obviously. Weather hasn't been this cold and then all off sudden to turns into a Scottish type of weather. It took us by a bit of surprise, but, you know, the ball -- it actually kind of helped because on a normal day the ball is going further because you're jacked up.
Then with the coldness it kind of evened out. It was pretty good throughout the round, and last three, four holes it got real cold and windy.
I mean, I'm happy that I can put my feet up now and have some lunch and chill out.
Q. How different did the golf course play and what type of shots do you have to change from the first two days?
MIN WOO LEE: Yep, yep, so it was firm. There are just greens out there that look completely different, kind of brown and toasty.
So the putt on 15 down the hill, you've got like 20 feet and you've literally got to hit a two-footer. We did, I hit it four feet past, and there are holes out there that are crazy quick.
Then with the cold element it's going to be a pretty tough course.
Q. You had a pitch shot into 15. You aimed some 30 feet right of that.
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah.
Q. Was that on purpose?
MIN WOO LEE: Yes and no. Not that far right, but maybe a few meters, five meters right. I had a really good lie and thought I could just kind of flick one out, but that downhill is so severe. It doesn't look that on TV, or when you're over it. You think it's going to come out and literally come out like a stinger. And to that green when it's firm, I mean, you just -- I hit it to 30 feet and most days you would nearly take that just because it's so windy.
You catch one good and spins down into the water, so you'll take a par nearly every day if you could for the rest of your life.
