Quick Quotes
Q. Tell me about your tee shot on 6. You're 4-over through five holes. What did that tee shot to do to kind of settle you down?
LUCAS GLOVER: I don't know really. It was just kind of -- I had hit some nice shots. Just made bogeys and dumb decisions there, but I knew I was hitting it good. Just started hitting some good ones, and I knew it was difficult for everybody today, so just keep plugging along, and that one went close and made it. I played very nice from there on out.
Q. Is this one of those deals where your experience helped? A lot of guys 4-over through five holes maybe don't settle down the way you did. You had five birdies the rest of the way. 18 wasn't great, but you settled down and played great golf.
LUCAS GLOVER: It was fine. It's kind of been my thing lately. Get off to a bad start and bring it back. It wasn't a new position, unfortunately, but you would like to -- I would like to say focus on getting off to a better start, but probably one of those things the more you think about it, the harder it is. Yeah, it was nice to turn it around and get it under par until the last, so, yeah, I played nice.
Q. You talked about it being tough for everyone. What was the most difficult thing about today's conditions? Wind? Wet?
LUCAS GLOVER: It was just swirling. The golf course is in immaculate condition for what we've had the last few days. Immaculate. Very little mud on the ball. Not many soft areas. It played great, but any time you get unpredictable wind, some gusts, and changing directions, it gets tricky. Outdoor game; we're all used to it. It makes it difficult.
Q. What are you looking to do tomorrow as you go a little earlier?
LUCAS GLOVER: Get off to a better start. (Laughing). Just same stuff. I'm playing nice. Hitting a lot of fairways and feel good with the putter. Just get off to a good start, and just a calm start would be nice. Doesn't have to be great. I don't need to be 4-under through four. I just need to not be 4-over through five. Nothing serious. Go get some rest. It's going to be an early morning, a cool morning. Keep the body loose and build on what we did there the middle.
Q. When you make a turnaround like that, does that help you build that momentum going into tomorrow?
LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah.
Q. Like you said, now you're thinking about the turnaround?
LUCAS GLOVER: Playing early tomorrow because there was some momentum. I kind of botched 18, but it was tough up that hill and tough to read around that hole. Yeah, it was some momentum for me from the start, for sure.
