Quick Quotes
Q. Let's start with your game. How did your game feel coming into this week?
TONY FINAU: It feels a lot better now than it has the last couple of months. I'm happy about that. Major season is here, and I've played some nice golf around this place, so it's nice to be back here and feeling good about the week.
Q. Why does it feel so comfortable at Augusta National?
TONY FINAU: I think it goes back to just the way this golf course looks to me. I'm a very visual player, very creative type of player, and this golf course allows you to hit shots, allows you to move the golf ball which is really cool, and that's kind of how I grew up playing, curving the golf ball a lot. And so this golf course allows you to do that and use your creativity around the greens, into the greens, and so I think that the combination of that and just having this as a major championship, that special feel, has been why I think I've had some good success around this place.
Q. What's one thing you're focusing on as you head into the tournament rounds?
TONY FINAU: Yeah, just rolling the rock. Eliminate says three putts has been something I've done pretty well. I think three putt avoidance is a huge stat this week that's overlooked because of the way the greens are.
