Q. Played solid all week; sitting at 6-under. One more time. What's the mindset heading into tomorrow?

LEXI THOMPSON: Score-wise obviously I have to shoot like lights out, but honestly just overall enjoying every single step of being the last round out here.

Hopefully they can get another event out here because the community, the girls love it here, and just the fans absolutely adore this golf course and having us here.

We'll see what the future holds, but Chevron has done amazing things with us here and nothing but great things Houston I'm sure. Bigger and better.

I'm just going to embrace the whole experience tomorrow and hopefully get a lot of people out here to support us, so we'll see.

Q. You're beloved here. You had actually a couple Chevron execs walking with you today. How special was that for you?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, it's amazing. Got to hang out with them quite a bit in my pro-am and at the champions' dinner. Just great people in general. They strive for the best, and it's great to have that partnership with Chevron.

And like I said before, I think it's going to be amazing the tournament that they will run in Houston. The amount of fans and just the hospitality, they have already said anything that we can improve on, tell us. We want to be the best.

It's great to have the support of that, of the partnership with them, and to have them out there watching me was pretty amazing.

Hopefully they're out there again, and we'll see.

Q. Heading into tomorrow, you've had a pretty respectable week here. How good does it feel to close everything out on a high note here at Mission Hills?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, good or bad, it's just blessing to be out here. I think that's what I'm coming to realize. It's just, you know, I'm healthy, out here playing golf in perfect weather, amazing golf course, and good or bad, it can be way worse.

So just embracing the whole moment and hopefully I play great, but if I don't, it is what it is.
