Q. Take us through your first competitive round here at Augusta National. What was it like?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: It's unbelievable. It's like a dream come true. The adrenaline you feel on the first tee and every shot out here is amazing. I just enjoyed it all and just had fun on the court.

Q. Back-to-back birdies on 15 and 16. Take us through the par 3 on 16..

BENEDETTA MORESCO: The par 3, my coach told me to aim six or seven meters to the right to let it come down, but I saw a good aim towards the pin, so I just went for it, and it was a good shot. I made the putt, which was really fast, so it was great.

Q. Quite a contingent from Alabama. Who do you have here, and what does it mean for you to have such a crew supporting you?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: I have my coach in the back. My sister and my team is here, and my coach as well, so it's unbelievable to have them here. It's a great support. Then we have Sylvia from Italy too and two guys from my home course in Italy. It's amazing to have the support, and it makes you feel proud and better on the course, yeah.

Q. With your coach on the bag, what kind of went through your mind in making that decision here?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: So with my coach on the bag, it probably helped my nerves a lot, and he was great on the course today. He made me do all the things that I needed to do, and I was determined every shot, and he helped me a lot in that. Yeah.

Q. What did you learn from last year's experience during this tournament that kind of helped you this year, and especially making the cut, and obviously you playing today?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: Last year I didn't make the cut, so I just had to play the practice round, so I had that thing inside that I wanted to come here again next year and play good, so I did it, and I'm really, really happy.

Q. I know the week is obviously coming to a close now. What has this been like? What has the experience meant to you?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: The experience is amazing. Like for us players, for us women, it's a lot to support women's golf. Also for my home country, makes me proud, and I'm really glad for them. They can see me and see the game of golf.

Q. How big of goal was it to get here in the first place when you were younger?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: So playing Augusta was always a dream, so since I got the invitation from last year, it became sort of a dream, and then it came true, and then I didn't play good last year, but I wanted to come back and have a good time here and play good, so I did it, and I'm really happy.

Q. Of the things thaw said that you were dreaming of doing, how high up the list is this tournament?

BENEDETTA MORESCO: It's my favorite tournament of the year. Definitely the top one, I guess, yeah.
