Quick Quotes
Q. How did you feel out there today?
INGRID LINDBLAD: It was fun.
Q. Just fun?
INGRID LINDBLAD: Fun.
Q. Learn anything?
INGRID LINDBLAD: Yeah. Always learn something on this course.
Q. What's one thing that you learned?
INGRID LINDBLAD: Just saying in my Swedish interview that the greens -- you know, last year I realized that you got to hit it like up in the break because of the break in the green, but I didn't understand like how much.
So I feel like I got a good practice of that today. I feel like last year I hit them a little too low and you get a tricky putt back instead of hitting a soft first putt.
Q. What's the energy level like right now and what was it like this morning?
INGRID LINDBLAD: My energy was a lot better this morning than yesterday. We sat around for a long time yesterday. You know, this morning I was just, I'm ready to go out there and just try to make some putts, because I didn't really make anything yesterday.
I felt like the energy was good today, even though it's always been a long day playing Champions Retreat first and practice round here. It's a lot of thinking and a lot of golf.
Q. What are you going to have to do maybe game-wise or score-wise tomorrow to have a shot?
INGRID LINDBLAD: You just got play aggressive, know where to hit the ball, kind of where it's got funnel on the greens.
Just got to play aggressive and hit fairways, hit greens, try to make some putts. You know, the greens are tough. Even if you hit good shots it's not for certain that you're going to make your putts.
Q. Is there something from last year's experience that you feel like you could take away that will help you specifically tomorrow?
INGRID LINDBLAD: From like? What do you mean?
Q. Just from the experience of being out there playing on a Saturday in the final round. Having gone through all that compared to the other competitors, is there something you can take away?
INGRID LINDBLAD: You just got to be focused on yourself. You can't focus too much on what's going on outside of the ropes and looking at leaderboards and everything.
I didn't understand that leaderboard 100% last year, so I'm kind of happy about that. Didn't know like exactly, and then I heard on the last green that I had to chip in to make the playoff.
But just focus on yourself, do your thing, not get too distracted about everything.
Q. Your current teammate and I guess former roommate is tied for the lead. Can you tell us about her and what she does well.
INGRID LINDBLAD: You know, I'm super excited for her tomorrow. I think she's going to go out and play great. She's a really solid player. She hits the ball straight.
My coach watched a few holes yesterday. She said she hit the fairways, hit the greens. She made like one bogey and one birdie, so she's really solid.
You know, on this course you want to be solid. You want to hit the fairways, hit the greens, and I think she's going to do well tomorrow.
Q. What's the most challenging hole, do you think, out here?
INGRID LINDBLAD: That's a very good question. I guess it depends on pin positions. I would probably say -- I mean, I think hole 3 is kind of tricky. I hit driver last year and I got into trouble and that was not ideal on that hole.
So today I just hit a 4-iron out and took a longer iron in to kind of take everything out of play.
Yeah, if you hit driver on that hole it can get kind of tricky if you don't hit the right spot. That green is also -- I mean, the front left part is really short. Like what's it called? It's really short, and then the long left part -- long right part is really narrow.
So it's not an easy green to hit.
