Quick Quotes
Q. First of all, just give us your view of what the course was like.
JENNY BAE: Today it was a practice round. The course was in fantastic shape. The greens are really fast and firm. I struggled a little bit with speed and where my target line is on the green, but I got the hang of it. I like to think of this round, instead of being intimidating, it was kind of thrilling. It's a new experience for me to practice and play on faster and firmer greens.
Q. Just give me an idea of what it's like to be a part of this field.
JENNY BAE: It's a huge honor, first of all, to be even invited to play the Augusta National Women's Amateur. I think I'm just going to go in the mindset of, yes, I'm playing with one of the best amateur golfers in the world, but I'm just going to play my own game and try not to focus on that.
Instead kind of focus on playing my own shot and every opportunity I have trying to make a birdie.
Q. Looking at two rounds out here, regardless of what happens you'll have a practice round at Augusta on Friday. Is it easy to remain in the present for two days, or is it something you have to control to keep yourself in the moment?
JENNY BAE: I think I have it actually more easier to just kind of be in the present instead of trying to think of what's ahead of me two days after. Of course I'm really excited for that, but in order to make it, I would have to play well the next two days. So I think I'm just going to focus on what I will do tomorrow.
