Q. Here with Maude-Aimee LeBlanc. I mean, matching 68s, but today was a little bit calmer. You had four birdies on the card; bogey-free; 14 of 18 greens; 29 putts. Did you have a little more relaxed round out there today?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Yeah, so it was very less exciting than yesterday we could say.

But it was very solid, yeah, tee to green.

Q. What have you found with your ball striking that's been so clutch for you that continued into today?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Again, it's just trying to swing without tension and try to keep the same mindset on every shot, and that's it.

Q. This golf course obviously is tricky. We talked about the simulator practice. Like how much more do you feel prepared to take on this golf course after that kind of practice?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: I mean, I always like this courses. I always tell people like this is probably my favorite course we play all year, or one of my favorites, so I already feel comfortable out here.

But playing it on the simulators, I mean, just, you know, confirms what I need to hit off the tee and like stuff like that.

I mean, obviously you don't get the wind or anything, but I think it's -- it helped me get even more familiar with the course.

Q. In the mix heading into the weekend. How are you feeling being just three shots back?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Feels good. Yeah, my goal out here is to, you know, play my best and try to improve my ranking every opportunity I get. I feel like this week is a good opportunity for that.

Again, it's poa greens. You just never know if you're going to make them or not. You just got to roll with it and hope they bounce in somehow.

Q. You say this is your favorite course. Why is it your favorite course?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: Just the layout. It's so pretty to me. Looks like a botanical garden. You just feel relaxed out here. Somehow it feels, yeah, it good to be out here.

So, yeah, I really don't know what it is exactly, but I've always felt comfortable here.

Q. What is it about Carlsbad that just increases those good vibes for you?

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: I don't know if it's the California surfer vibes or -- I don't know. I mean, the scenery is beautiful. I don't know. It's a good question.

It's just feeling I have. It's hard to describe.

Q. There is negative ions in the mountains. Maybe that has something to do with it.

MAUDE-AIMEE LEBLANC: What's that?
