Q. Tell me about 18 because you almost drove the green. You had to be a little pumped up.

ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, absolutely. No, I was actually feeling a little adrenaline. I remember last year I think I hit like a 4-iron and it didn't work out. So I was like, I'm not doing that. A little bit of adrenaline. I guess it just hit perfectly on the downhill and yeah, that was great.

Q. When the hats came off you got the biggest roar of anybody here at 18. Is that the Abraham Ancer fan club?

ABRAHAM ANCER: It's just awesome. I guess it's pretty close to Mexico, about as close as we get, maybe next week in San Antonio. So many Latinos, so many Mexicans out here, it feels amazing. I feel like I'm playing at home.

Q. You feel the electricity from the crowd?

ABRAHAM ANCER: Absolutely. There are Mexico signs over here and little kids that are pumped up and watching me play and it really gets me going.

Q. Now to the round of 16. How much fun is that going to be?

ABRAHAM ANCER: I'm looking forward to it. I love match play. This golf course, it's a lot of fun, anything can happen. It's awesome playing in front of these fans, so I'm excited.
