Q. Just quick takeaways on your match today?

DANIEL BERGER: I think neither of us really played the best golf that we could have played, but someone has to win and I played a little better than he did. I'm still in the tournament, so go out there and win tomorrow and see what happens.

Q. Going into today you knew you had to win to really stay in it. What was it about mentally that you were able to --

DANIEL BERGER: Yeah, just trying to stay as patient as possible and the conditions are tough and the golf course is tricky. There's not a ton of birdie holes out there if you're not in the fairway, and so just tried to give myself as many opportunities and go out there tomorrow and see what happens.

Q. Do you feel like this is a golf course that fits your eye?

DANIEL BERGER: To be honest, it's not my favorite golf course we play all year, but it's a huge tournament and you've got to show up and play your best. That's what I'm trying to do tomorrow.
