Quick Quotes
Q. Georgia, congratulations. Really you went out early and you got those early birdies. From there, you were just in control, weren't you?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, that was my plan in my head. The front nine is a little bit easier, a little bit less wind than we've had. So I tried to take advantage and hit some really good shots on the front nine to get me further ahead, and that kind of settled me.
Q. Towards the end one or two bogeys crept in, but to be honest, it didn't really matter by then, did it? You must have looked at the scoreboard and knew what you had to do.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I was really happy with the shots I hit. Even on 16, I thought it was a pretty good shot. It just didn't come back. It was so tough. It was windier than yesterday, and 15, 16 can be very tricky. So I tried a few damage limitations there. Obviously really happy with the birdie on 17.
Q. It's hard to win a golf tournament when you're leading all the way through. For you as well, this victory in the conditions you went out early in the tournament, you had the tough side of the draw, had the lead then, kept the lead, and now you've got the trophy. So I guess real special for you?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, to lead all week is very special. I think the first round really was very important for me. I played incredible that round. It really set me up for the rest of the week.
Sometimes it's not always easy with a five-shot lead into the last day, it's a little bit more pressure on you, but I was really happy with the way I conducted myself today.
Q. I asked you yesterday if this would mean any more to you because of what happened last time, and you sort of shrugged it off, but you can tell me now. There were some emotions obviously when you won. Does it mean a little bit more when you've come so close before and now you've closed out with the trophy?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, it's fantastic to win in March early in the season. I really love this place and love the golf course. I was fine after 18, and they started crying, and it made me cry. I was just really proud of the way I played today.
Q. A word to those watching back at home because I know you're going to have a lot of people watching back at home.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, Mom and Dad, Harry, just they're my support at home, so thank you.
Q. We're very proud of you, got your hand on another trophy in your career, so well done.
GEORGIA HALL: Thank you.
