Quick Quotes
Q. How would you describe this long day?
PAUL CASEY: Long. Started in the dark and got home in the dark.
But productive. I played some good golf. I said to my caddie, it wasn't my best ball striking, but I putted really well, and that's been the crux so far this year. So happy with that.
Yeah, it was all the good stuff. Without question, the birdie on 17 was a lot of fun today.
Q. Did it help playing as much as you did early in the day today?
PAUL CASEY: I think so. Look, I've been vocal. I've got momentum. I feel good about the position I'm in. Yeah, and if you're playing well, it's nice to keep playing. If you play poorly, you want that break. It's like today, it is what it is. It's too dark and you can't continue. I would have just kept playing. I was playing some lovely stuff and give myself some birdie opportunities.
Playing tomorrow is basically just do the same. It's going to be more of the same. Somebody like myself who kind of gets on a roll, look for that person (indiscernible).
Q. What do you draw on for this?
PAUL CASEY: This is a golf course I've always loved. I haven't necessarily played it brilliantly. Johnny Long Socks, we had six years together. He guided me around this place really, really well, and a lot of that has just stayed. There's a way of playing this golf course.
I'm liking the current wind direction and the game plan I've got. To be honest, that's what matters, and I'll just go out and execute as well as I can.
