Quick Quotes
Q. I just wanted to know the emotions happening right there. Obviously playoff holes, but how is it?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: It was fun. I really tried to enjoy the moment. Standing now with the trophy it was even more fun. A little bummed on 18; the ordinary play was not very fun.
But now it's great.
Q. First LPGA win. After 2021 and ANA and then the British Open and then the Solheim and everything you had, is it really sweet now, everything you've gone through?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Yeah. I mean, my game is really trending in the right direction. I mean, you can say that.
I think I have more confidence with my game and myself. I believe that I can win out here, so that's just what I been chasing for the last year.
Q. How about a tournament scoring record. You and Janet both finished on.
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Oh, yeah.
Q. It was 25-under before and you went through that. When you were on top you seemed to stay there. How was the scoring this week? How are you just that good?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Well, obviously the course played a little easier because of the soft greens, but you to make a lot of birdies, and that's hard, knowing you have to go out and at least 5-, 6-under.
But it's pretty cool having the scoring record, yeah.
Q. Very last question: Was it a 9- iron into the last?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Yes.
Q. I mean was it a flier or -- it was crazy.
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Yeah, the first time I played it it was 8-iron that was on the spectators, and then the second one I had a little two meters longer, but we were like, Ah, we're going to go with a 9 this time.
