Q. Overall a very solid round of golf. How do you feel about today's performance?

XIYU LIN: I am very happy today's performance because I off a little slower start; couldn't really make a putt or hit it close first couple of holes. Then my playing partner was like birdie, birdie, birdie. I'm like, okay. So I'm just trying to keep up.

So front nine was pretty average, and then back nine I was just like keep telling myself to be patient, it's going to come.

And so it was a good little row, like four birdies in a row, and then also nice to finish with another birdie.

So I think I put myself in a really good position for tomorrow.

Q. So just couple years ago you won the hole-in-one prize. Do you think there is a chance of re-creating that moment tomorrow in the final round?

XIYU LIN: Hole-in-one? Oh, I hope so. I mean, of course. Why not? But that hole is -- it's pretty hard to get a hole-in-one.

Couple years ago I got so lucky. The ball was rolling halfway up the hill all the way down into the cup. Of course I would hope for the best of luck. I will try to go at the pin. But like today it was super hard.

Q. What's been your takeaway the last three rounds?

XIYU LIN: I kind of told myself always like this course have lots of opportunities, so I really need to just get it going. I think first two round I did really good; today, I mean, slower start and I ended up really good, too. So that's a big positive for me.

Then I know tomorrow is going to be the same. I guess everybody attacking, and then just hope for the best.

Q. On that note, what's the strategy going into the final round? How will you try to set yourself apart?

XIYU LIN: I think hit some fairways, and then when there is a chance, just go for it.

And then, I mean, on the Par-5, definitely need to have some good performance. And then, you know, I already been through some different kind of starts, so I think I'm very prepared for that.

Q. Still 18 holes to go. What would it mean to you to get a win and to join Shanshan as an LPGA Tour winner?

XIYU LIN: I mean, winning a tournament, it has been my goal set for this year. It's only the beginning of the year, and, I mean, even end of last year I start to see myself finish pretty high on the leaderboard.

I will definitely try my best. Here do you need a little bit of luck because everyone is going to go super low. Whatever happens, I'm going to learn from it. I think it just more I put myself in this position, I will somehow get it one day.

So tomorrow I will try my best, but it's a good learning opportunity anyway.
