Quick Quotes
Q. If we could start with an opening comment of how you feel these first two rounds went for you.
JOHN PAK: It was good. I played here quite a few times, and the course is way tougher than anything I've ever experienced playing out here. 3-over, it was fine. I didn't play great, didn't play bad. It's just a really challenging and hard golf course.
Q. Right now it looks like the cut is likely to go to 2, possibly to 3-over. What does the afternoon look like for you as you hope to be playing two more rounds here?
JOHN PAK: A lot of my friends and family are here. I think I'm just going to relax and spend some time with them and just try to keep my mind off things.
Q. What are you learning from these sponsor exemptions that you're getting on the PGA TOUR and these experiences you've had over the last year or so?
JOHN PAK: It's been great. I'm learning a lot. It's way tougher than people think it is out here. All these guys are so good. It's always just a great experience playing against the best players in the world.
Q. Last question. Just what are your plans for the rest of the year as it pertains to the Korn Ferry Tour and looking for spots out here as well?
JOHN PAK: Yeah, I think my main focus is on the Korn Ferry. I've got two more exemptions at Colonial and Memorial, so if the schedule works, I'll play in those.
You see a lot of guys come out from the top 25 on the Korn Ferry and do pretty well out there, so that's kind of what I'm focusing on as well.
