THE MODERATOR: Questions for the Colombian team.
Q. Alejandro, talk about the challenge of putting a team together, especially when you get an injury maybe to one of your top guys, can't play, you have to scramble. Talk about that challenge.
ALEJANDRO FALLA: Yes, so I knew it was a shame that Daniel couldn't make it to come here, our first singles guy. Unfortunately we don't have many players in Colombia to choose, so Alejandro has more experience in these kind of events.
Yeah, we have a strong team also. We respect so much the U.S. team. But I think we are friends, we know each other very well. I think that can play a role here during the weekend.
Q. Davis Cup has always been such an important event for you guys. Talk a little bit about that.
ALEJANDRO FALLA: Yesterday, we were talking about it. For any Colombian athlete, it's all about passion. That's what we did in Turin. We're very known because of this. Latin America is pretty much the same.
For us, that's the main part here. Then the second part is just play tennis. All these guys, they just want to go out there and try to win every point.
Q. Alejandro, what do you think about being here in this part of the United States? How has it been so far with the host?
ALEJANDRO FALLA: Everything has been great here. The atmosphere, the court is great, the stadium. The people has been really nice to us. We feel very comfortable here. Look forward to the weekend and see how the competition goes.
