I. SWIATEK/A. Kontaveit
6-2, 6-0
Q. Obviously things didn't go your way tonight, but you must be sort of overall happy with the week you have had and also the whole month of February that you have had. Talk us through reflecting on all of that as a whole.
ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, definitely very good week for me. My biggest final so far. I mean, apart from the WTA Finals, I guess.
Yeah, I had some really good wins over opponents I hadn't beaten before. Yeah, overall I'm very happy and feel like my game is moving in the right direction. I think the results have reflected that in the last few weeks. Very pleased with that.
Q. Just talk a little bit about the match. Was it just a case of Iga just playing too well? Or summarize your thoughts on the match briefly.
ANETT KONTAVEIT: I think it was -- yeah, I mean, Iga played a really, really good match. She put a lot of pressure on my serves. Yeah, she was playing a really solid match.
I think I was a little overwhelmed, maybe didn't deal with my emotions as well as I would have liked. Yeah, I mean, Iga was just great today.
Q. How are you feeling heading into the sort of sunshine swing now, Indian Wells, Miami? What are your immediate plans the next sort of week or so?
ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, first I'm going home, and then...
Q. Then preparing for Indian Wells, Miami?
ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, I'll have a few days at home, and then I will go to Indian Wells quite early.
Q. A bit of a silver lining to this week is that you'll make your top 5 debut on Monday. Just talk about you have been working towards that, your thoughts on that and how pleased you are with that.
ANETT KONTAVEIT: Yeah, I think it's a great achievement. Really happy with the way that I have actually improved my game and the results have sort of been reflecting and the ranking also rising. So very happy with that.
Of course I have set some goals, and now I will have to set some new goals. It's really exciting.
