LaMELO BALL: Like I said, it's a blessing just being around a great group of guys, just taking everything in. Out here just having fun.
Q. The guys in the celebrity game last night, where were you?
LaMELO BALL: At Rick & Morty’s.
Q. How does this reflect who you are as a player and as a person?
LaMELO BALL: I pretty much think you can tell by looking at it. As you can see they're not even the same color, so it's just outrageous, and I feel like it explains --
Q. Any future collaboration with Rick and Morty, anything you're looking forward to?
LaMELO BALL: You know, just stay tuned. I love Rick & Morty’s, so maybe we can get another one of those, so I don't know, maybe, we'll see.
Q. Talk about working with Coach Spoelstra and what you've learned from him.
LaMELO BALL: Yeah, great coach. You know already his whole history, everything he done. To be able to play for him, it's a blessing.
Q. What are your impressions of Tyrese Haliburton?
LaMELO BALL: Tyrese? I think he's a great player. I feel like he'll fit in the Pacers well, and he's been doing good, right, so yeah, I think he'll just keep doing good.
Q. What are some thoughts on heading down the final stretch of the season?
LaMELO BALL: Yeah, yeah, coming back from this All-Star break should be big. I feel like we've got to get on some streaks, get some wins going, and hopefully the momentum changes.
Q. Is there something missing or something that can be fixed?
LaMELO BALL: No, you know what, I feel like we're doing good. I feel like at the end we were right there and we just need to close the game. That's pretty much it. Hopefully when we get back we just start closing games.
Q. What did you think of the format last night for the Rising Stars game?
LaMELO BALL: The little 50 and the 25 at the end? Yeah, I think it was cool. I might rather just have a regular game like they usually do, but it was good for the 75th anniversary, just to do something different. Yeah, I think it was cool.
Q. Were you guys trying to win it?
LaMELO BALL: Yeah, for sure. When we came out, we were trying to win. We were trying to be good on defense, but just couldn't get it. It was cool, though.
Q. How is your vision always so good?
LaMELO BALL: I think when I was young just playing up, I kind of saw a lot, so I kind of know what's going to happen next, so probably that.
Q. Does this feel like a great era for point guards?
LaMELO BALL: Yeah, definitely. Even when I was younger, I feel like it was going to be heavy on the point guards, just seeing everybody in the AAU, you could see the talent right there. Even in college, you just kind of knew what it was.
