For Myers, Florida, USA
Crown Colony Golf & Country Club
Quick Quotes
Q. Charley, take me through the second day here at Crown Colony.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, played really well tee-to-green. Just didn't hole anything -- putted pretty bad, to be fair.
But, yeah, good score considering it got quite windy out there. I felt the greens were a bit slower today on the front nine I think because of the dew.
I left about five to seven shots out there, which is actually quite a lot.
Q. When you talk about the wind especially, how much does that affect how you have been preparing for this course?
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know. Like it's been windy last couple weeks here in Florida, so you don't really notice it as much.
I suppose they just dry the greens out a little bit.
Q. A lot of people have been saying the front nine can play a little bit easier. Did you feel that today?
CHARLEY HULL: No. I find the back nine plays easier than the front.
Q. Oh.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah.
Q. Why is that for you?
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know. I haven't got a clue. Just the way I see it.
Q. You talk about leaving a couple strokes out there. What will you do today as you you get ready for tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: Just going to hit some balls on the range and do some putting, and then get a manicure and pedicure.
Q. Perfect way to prepare for the final day. The momentum that you carried over from last week especially, what have you taken away from Boca that you brought into this week?
CHARLEY HULL: Just confidence, got to be more confident in myself. I put a lot of preparation in over the winter, so just strength, like I can play really good golf but I'm not that mentally strong sometimes.
Not necessarily on the golf course. Off the golf course. So that kind of affects my game. Just kind of been working on that. I've got good group of friends around me, so, yeah, it helps me a lot mentally.
