Q. How did you play in this wind?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: It was really hard to putt. I felt like I played really nicely actually. Just not sinking the ball. I had a lot of missed putts. I really struggle getting it in the hole. I gave myself a lot of chances, just not a lot of good putts at the hole.

Easily gave up a nice four shots.

Q. Could have been a lot more.

DUSTIN JOHNSON: It's a tough day, obviously, but I struck it well, hit a lot of nice shots.

Q. You didn't do yourself too much damage.

DUSTIN JOHNSON: No, I'm okay. It's going to be windy the next two days, which obviously helps out a little bit. I'll go out and shoot a good score tomorrow and be right back in it.

Q. Is there any shot in particular that fooled you?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Just putting. Just part of you have to play to win it on every putt. So, yeah, it's just tough to read them.

Q. Are you feeling a little bit mentally and physically tired?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: No, I'm good. I'm swinging well. So just work on the putter a bit tomorrow morning before I tee off and just try to get comfortable playing these breaks with the wind.

Q. Quite a bit of wind, isn't it?

DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, but I'm swinging good. So that helps.
