Q. I think 3-over par. How did you feel about that today?

MATTEO MANASSERO: It was tough. I mean, obviously, the conditions were really difficult. It was one of those rounds that kind of never got going. I was always chasing.

But, yeah, overall I fought well. The long game is good. I missed a couple short putts, which happens when the conditions are like this. That's about it really. It was the day I expected with this wind.

Q. What from these two rounds do you now take into the weekend?

MATTEO MANASSERO: I feel good on the golf course. So enjoy playing and being able to do it well. That's what I'll take into the weekend. It's nice to start off the year playing good golf.

Q. It's not like you just made the cut. You're still well within a shout that something good can happen this weekend.

MATTEO MANASSERO: I think it's going to be windy going into the weekend. That's the forecast. There's a lot to play for, for sure, but I think I'll go shot by shot and see what happens. I'm definitely happy with what I've seen.

Q. You seem quite relaxed. Is that something you'll try to continue over the course of the weekend?

MATTEO MANASSERO: Yeah, probably over the course of the year really. It's the mindset I want because I understood that it's the mindset I work the best in. So definitely it's something to keep.

Of course it's not that easy to keep it all the time because there are times in which the pressure comes up, and it's hard to be like that. I try. I try. That's my main thing.
