Q. All right, Lexi, not a bad way to close out the final day with a bogey-free round. Take me through what was working so well?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, overall we couldn't have asked for any better weather; totally different from yesterday.

It was just a solid day. I'm hitting it well and made some good putts. Made even a few good par putts out there, which are usually key to saving a rounds.

And overall a lot of positives to take into next week and good start to the year.

Q. Definitely more relaxed on that back nine as well. Take me through the last couple birdies.

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, my birdie on 16, I hit good 3-wood off the tee. Then hit it up to about 15 feet. Actually got a read after Ally. She had the same exact putt just a little bit further. So helped me out a bit.

And then -- sorry, that was 15.

16 the par-5, got lucky with the drive. Took some yardage off the hole and then got up and down for birdie around the green. Definitely a few key birdies coming in. Needed to make a little jump up the leaderboard.

Q. And next week, a familiar area for you. I know it's a new course, but what are you excited for most as we head back to the Fort Myers area?

LEXI THOMPSON: Just being able to drive to another event is always nice. I know there won't be any fans out there unfortunately, but we're happy to have events and have them in Florida especially. Looks like we'll he have good weather.

I haven't played the golf course but heard it's good, so just looking forward to going over there and seeing.
