Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Press Conference
M. KECMANOVIC/S. Caruso
6-4, 6-2, 6-1
THE MODERATOR: Thank you for joining us. How are you feeling after the match?
SALVATORE CARUSO: Good. Not, of course, happy with the result, but, I mean, that's tennis. I mean, there's some matches that are going in a good way and others in a bad way. So this is not a good day talking about tennis for me, but, I mean, I'm good.
Q. Wondering what your preparation was like leading into this particular match. You've been through some circumstances leading up to it.
SALVATORE CARUSO: Yeah, I mean, actually nothing more, nothing less than the previous matches. I mean, I knew that being No. 1 lucky loser I had some chances to get in, so I just, normal preparation. I mean, I did yesterday my practice and my schedule like normal. As I told you, nothing special.
THE MODERATOR: What's your plan now that you've finished today?
SALVATORE CARUSO: Yeah, I'm going back home, and then I think I will go to Pune, to India to play the 250 there and then actually I have to speak with my coach to see what we will do after.
THE MODERATOR: How did you enjoy your experience playing in the Australian Open with of course crowds back today and with the beautiful weather here in Melbourne, how did you enjoy it?
SALVATORE CARUSO: Actually, I was pretty surprised that today was a lot of people because, I mean, last year was not so crowded like today, but, I mean, you know, to see the crowd there supporting the guys, it's always great, so we hope to have all crowds like this soon.
