THE MODERATOR: Talk us through the game and how you're feeling.

ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: Well, is never easy to start the tournament. I think I played solid. I was very concentrate. The conditions today were not very easy. Was a lot of wind on that court.

Well, I'm very happy that I could go through it.

Q. Your thoughts on the court speed here. Do you feel it's playing a bit faster, slower than usual? How do you feel it suits your game?

ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: I think the court, it's like always, no? It's like in the last years. I think the weather depends a lot and helps the ball go faster or slower.

Today was a bit cooler, so the conditions today were a bit slower. But it's going to get warm in the next few days, and I think the court will be really fast with the warm conditions.

Q. Has getting to the finals in ATP Cup helped your confidence?

ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: Yes, of course. When you play a lot of matches at the beginning of the year, it's very important. You get the rhythm of the competition in the first week.

Well, I'm feeling well on the court. Today was a not easy match. I could go through it in four sets. I'm very happy.
