THE MODERATOR: How do you feel getting through to the second round?
MAGDA LINETTE: I'm feeling good. It took some time at the Australian Open for me to win a match again, so I'm happy it was a lot of up and downs, and I'm really happy that I stayed strong and I fought and competed really well. I'm glad I managed to come back in the second set.
Q. How are you feeling about going into the second round and your opponent there?
MAGDA LINETTE: I played her a couple of times already and last year, as well, so I think I'm ready. I'm prepared. I played one very tough three-setter and then I had a better one for me later on in the year.
I'm quite ready. I know how she plays. I played her a couple of times, and I had one very close match and one better one for me. I'm quite ready.
Q. Turning back to today and how you felt on court, how did you go with the wind? Very windy out there today.
MAGDA LINETTE: Yeah, it was windy. It doesn't feel as windy as actually it is. I feel like it's just like really taking the ball away, and I had to be very low in my legs and really work hard on my feet because just a couple of misses that I didn't expect I'm going to have, especially on the net, that made my life a little bit more difficult today.
I'm just glad that I stayed mentally strong and competed well because that was, I guess, the key today.
