THE MODERATOR: Congratulations on your win today. How does it feel to be through to the third round?

ELISE MERTENS: It feels pretty good. I had a pretty good day today. Yeah, it was a pretty solid match for me. I think my serve was working well and of course you get an advantage when you put a lot of first serves in.

So, yeah, she's kind of a hard hitter, so I knew I had to bring that one more ball back and let her play a little bit.

A little bit hotter today, different conditions, but I think it was in my favor.
