THE MODERATOR: Tough match out there; how are you feeling after that?

ELISE MERTENS: I mean, it was a close one. She was playing pretty good, pretty aggressive. I tried everything out there. Even she made some winners on my first serve, so that was kind of a bummer.

I played pretty consistent, just came a little short. Overall I'll try to take the positives with me.
