Q. All right, Karrie, two rounds down of the Gainbridge LPGA. We'll see you this weekend. How are you feeling making your cut here somewhere close to home?

KARRIE WEBB: Yeah, feels good. I felt like I played pretty well for the two days. Didn't make a lot putts, but for not having played a tournament for such a long time, it's nice to be in the action on the weekend.

Q. How exciting is it to see this community rally to see you and to be a part of this and support what you've been going through out on the course?

KARRIE WEBB: Yeah, I've lived down here for 23, 24 years now, so I guess I feel like a local as much as you can in Florida. Yeah, no, it's nice. Been a nice turnout, and it's been nice that everyone has appreciated that I've shown up to play. It's made me feel special for sure.

Q. You thought you were going to be playing in good old tropical right by Boyton Beach; more like Alaska, especially Sunday. How do you anticipate that will be when it's like in the 30s?

KARRIE WEBB: Yeah, that's the reward for making the cut, right? Get to play in bad weather over the weekend. Yeah, been a while since I played in cold weather, so see how it goes.

Lots of layers and try and stay as warm as possible. Yeah, just deal with it.

Q. Overall, what are the feels I guess as the kids say, as you've come back? It's been almost two years. What are some of the things you're realizing that you kind of missed? You don't want to do it every week, but is there stuff you're just like very happy to experience again?

KARRIE WEBB: Yeah, I think coming out here this week, I guess it feels a lot like coming home. You had this life and this routine for over 20 years, 25 years, so you pick up where you left off pretty quickly.

It feels comfortable, and it's great to see a lot of friends that I haven't seen for a long time and catch up with them. The banter back and forth and the caddies and some of the players, I do really miss that, so that's been fun this week.

Q. What's the most challenging part of stepping back into the arena?

KARRIE WEBB: I think just knowing if you're ready or not. And honestly, I had no real expectations, but I just know how good these girls are and the standard gets better and better every year.

You know, I think I felt good that I wasn't playing in the group in front with Lexi and Nelly, because I would've been 40 or 50 yards short of them the last two days. So that was good at least.

Yeah, no, I think it's just the unknown, not being super sharp. Because if you're playing a lot you get used to handling the pressure I think. When you haven't had that on you, it's a lot more overwhelming than doing it week in and week out.

Q. How cool was the pairing with the Karrie Webb Cup winner?

KARRIE WEBB: Yeah, it was a really cool pairing. Obviously known Su since she was about 12 or 13. Then she won the Australian Women's PGA, which was the Karrie Webb Cup couple weeks ago. She actually told me she's taking me out to dinner tomorrow night, so have to find a nice place to get my reward.

But, no, it was really good. And I love playing with Inbee and her caddie, Brad, is Australian as well. We had a lot of fun out there.

Q. Despite your long layoff you have been a local here for over 20 years. Does that take some of the nerves off returning, knowing that, I been here before, this is kind of like my back yard, so it'll be like -- it'll be natural, second nature to you?

KARRIE WEBB: I think staying at home, waking up in my own bed, cooking food in my own house, not a lot of adjustment that needed to be made this week except for just getting ready to play a tournament.

Other than that, I know if there is an accident on 95 I know how to get home from there. If I was in a foreign place I would just stay on the highway and get stuck in traffic. It's just the familiarity of being at home this week.

Q. One more from me: Just going off what Jeff said about feeling kind of the competition all over again, even though there has been, this might be naive as you were a Hall of Famer, but were there any nerves on the first tee the past two days?

KARRIE WEBB: Yesterday for sure, yeah. And actually I'd completely forgotten my whole warmup routine. I got a little flustered when I got to the course because we had to valet and that threw me out. And then I was on chipping green, which is where I went first and I was like, Oh, no, I normally putt first.

So I was so far from the putting green I'm like, Oh, we'll just go with it. I was a little more organized today which was good.
