Q. Joined by Jeongeun Lee6 after a bogey-free 5-under par 67 in the first round the 2022 Gainbridge LPGA. Jeongeun, you had an eagle on the very first hole, three on a par-5. Take us through that hole, how it happened.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, I'm really happy to get eagle first hole and first tournament, and then I'm really satisfied with my result today. I made four birdies and one eagle. Yeah, I was really happy. Yeah.

Q. Did you feel that an eagle on the first hole of the season really helped and has some good vibes for the rest of your year?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, my goal was just even par today, but I started really good so I play very comfortably. Yeah.

Q. What did you do in the off-season? Did you do anything fun? What do you work on in your golf game?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, I took a rest, almost three weeks. I see friends and eat delicious foods. Yeah, I just -- yeah. I had a good time.

Q. What are delicious foods?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Korean food.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah.

Q. Anything in particular?

JEONGEUN LEE6: No.

Q. Did you do anything to work on your golf game in the off-season, especially as you prepared for this tournament?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, I practiced in Palm Springs with my team, with my coach. I struggle swing last year, so I spend a lot of time with my coach, so my swing is getting better so I can play aggressively this year.

Q. You said you wanted to shoot even today but you shot 5-under.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yep.

Q. That gives you kind of a jump start on the weekend, a little bit of an advantage. In your mind for what you wanted to do, do you feel like you are kind of ahead of where you want to be?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, I have three more days. I'm focusing on my downswing and release, just I'm going to focus on my own shot at a time, and then just I want to focus on my game. Yeah.
