Q. Maybe not the outcome you were hoping for but still a lot of positives you must be taking away from this week. Just your overall thoughts?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, I played really solid most of the way. One stretch in there today, 5 through 10, where I didn't make a couple birdies on some of those easy par-5s.

But other than that I played really well. It was nice to make a few putts coming in on, what was it, 12 and 17 was a nice one to make. So I'll take some positives going forward and hopefully keep playing well next week at Torrey.

Q. Second top 10 here. This course is made for you. Would you say you're trending in the right direction?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, I've been hit and miss on those couple good finishes. But, yeah, I've been playing better here, my game feels really solid, so I'm encouraged the direction we're going.
