Quick Quotes
Q. Hi, Jack, tell us how it went out there today.
JACK WAGNER: You know, I played with Michelle Wie, which was great. We know each other a little bit. I started on the back nine. I had a 2-under today, which is really -- I had it going pretty good.
Couple loose swings and wound up having a double bogey. A little frustrating for me not to shoot par or better today, but I hit the ball better than yesterday.
I think we're all trying to get used to this golf course and the heavy rough, and the greens have a lot of roll-off, so just trying to maintain your patience out there.
So I scored a lot better today.
Q. How has it been play alongside Michelle Wie West today?
JACK WAGNER: Well, you know, I'm great friends with Jerry West, which is her father in law, and Johnnie West, her husband I've known for years, since he was a boy.
So it was -- I've always been a fan of Michelle Wie's game. She doesn't play much anymore but it was great to watch her play.
She didn't score that well today but we're buddies now, and just to watch her swing and just some golf stories to share about her baby now, her being a mother, was very cool.
Q. Given you're doing so well in the tournament, how do you think you'll finish in the tournament?
JACK WAGNER: Well, you know, the great part of this event for the celebrities is that it's four days. I had a really bad day yesterday, but I know that if I continue to grind it out out there and be patient, and hopefully I can get a couple good rounds in, then you have a shot to finish Top 5 or top 10 for me, which would be great.
Q. Do you have any goals for tomorrow, expectations on the course?
JACK WAGNER: If I can maintain my patience, that would be amazing. That would be so great. Because I like to go, God...
So just try not to do that.
