Quick Quotes
Q. You had the low round of the day on any golf that wasn't played on La Quinta, 8-under. How would you assess your round? What did you take away from it?
K.H. LEE: I mean, I didn't know other course 8-under par or shoot more under par, but I'm very happy, feels after this round, because starting very tough, make a bogey, but keep positive thinking and then putting very well. Also iron is controlled really well. So, I mean, always low under par is happy for me.
Q. You were on fire, 7, 8, 9, with the irons, like you said -- 7 and 9. 8 you didn't stick, but 7 and 9 you stuck. How were you able to get into a rhythm and how important was it for you to finish your round so strong?
K.H. LEE: Yeah, I play well through number 11, but number I think No. 5, par-5, I hit a missed shot, I hit it left into the water, the par-5. So I'm so disappointed a little bit, but I try more positive way, so, oh, I think, make bogey and then couple holes finish strong. So I try more focus to next hole and success and very good.
Q. There was four times throughout the round where you had back-to-back birdies or two or more birdies in a row. How were you able to, you know, when you make one birdie, do you feel the momentum to make another birdie? Why do you think that is?
K.H. LEE: Yeah, I mean, yes, make birdie, so make happy, so better focus next hole. So, I mean not try every hole try birdie, but like flow is much better, so I think that's help for like consistent scoring and birdieing more bounce back, yes.
