THE MODERATOR: Tell me about playing together this week. How have you enjoyed it?

STORM SANDERS: Yeah, it's been a lot of fun with Ash. We played a lot together from juniors. We're really good friends. To come out here and play, get a win, is absolutely amazing.

We both really enjoy playing here in Adelaide. Obviously Ash has been playing really well this week in singles and doubles. It was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed it out there. We tried to stick to our game style and patterns, it really paid off today.

THE MODERATOR: We'll be seeing more of you two together going forward?

ASHLEIGH BARTY: We love playing together. Like Stormy said, we've played right together since juniors. I smiled when I got a message asking if Stormy wanted to play this week.

It was a lot of fun this week. We played great right from the get-go. We were challenged and we were able to then come back to what works for us, which is brilliant. I'm sure there will be a few more.

THE MODERATOR: Talk to me about the final.

STORM SANDERS: It was good. It was a night match. Great to see a lot of people stay around. The atmosphere was amazing. I think we just got out to a good start. We both served really well and felt really comfortable on serve.

Even in the second set we had a few opportunities, sudden death deuce points, which can go either way. Doubles can change very fast. Even though I felt we were in control, still had to try to stay on top of it because with the sudden death deuce points, it changes very quickly.

But, yeah, we served really well and just tried to stay in control at the net and return well when we could. I think we did that great today.
